This is a great place, Daniele's, who has managed to transform a hamburger joint into one of the most interesting places in Venice.
The cuisine loves tradition, with its famous cicchetti, but doesn't shy away from creativity, and the results can be admired already in the appetizers. Here are the Scallops in Butter with Lime Delight and Soy-Flavored Spring Onions, or the Pistachio-Toasted Prawns with Venere Rice on a Zucchini Coat and Burrata Cheese. Continue with the "Red Shrimp" Tagliolino with Zucchini Filangé and Lemon Zest, or, for example, Gragnano Spaghetti with Clams. Also noteworthy are the Venetian-Style Black Cuttlefish with Toasted Polenta, or the Fresh Tuna Slices Seared with Black Sesame and Mixed Vegetables, or the Sea Bass Turban with Potato Delight, Pantelleria Capers, and Cherry Tomatoes.
